Sad Times at PIBC

My heart feels heavy right now. Last week we needed to dismiss four more PIBC students for noncompliance with the Standard of Behavior. That brings the semester total to seven students. Somehow, despite our human efforts, we are failing to intervene positively in the lives of some of our students. As a community of students, staff, and faculty, we are not doing enough to reach out and help to stop others from slipping down the slope of sin and addiction. I do not mean to diminish the students' personal responsibility, as some of them were already receiving weekly counseling, but the sheer numbers themselves remind us that we must do more. We can ill afford to excuse our inaction on lack of time when people's futures are at stake. Please pray for us as we try to find the delicate balance between grace and discipline and as we seek to find meaningful ways to involve ourselves in the lives of the PIBC students. Thank you for praying.

True that Neth. I strongly agree with what you've saying. You don't have enough times and support for
your students. I think you should
try some new activities such as, spenting time with your students just to learn more about their lives. Both spiritual and physical.

Thank you and God bless you.
