Dad spends a moment with new son Jacob.

A touchable moment from Jacob to Elias

Today Marisol's cousin Karina and aunt Marlene came to meet the twins.

Jacob enjoyed visiting with Marisol's uncle Enrique and his wife Mayra and daughter Patricia.

Farnsworth Family Forum February 2012

Farnsworth Family Forum is pleased to introduce Elias Samuel Farnsworth (left) and Jacob Stephen Farnsworth (right). Jacob arrived first on the scene at the Hospital Metropolitano in Quito, Ecuador, on Saturday, January 28, at 7:37 AM, followed by Elias at 7:40. Both weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces. After spending three eventful days in the hospital the Farnsworth family moved back home to Ibarra. Marisol and the babies are doing fine, as are siblings Joel and Amelia and proud dad Ned. You can follow the action more closely on our blog at www.farnsworthforum.blogspot.com.

Continue to pray for Ned’s residency visa for Ecuador which is in process. He will make one final attempt to extend his current visa on Tuesday for 45 more days. If unsuccessful, he will need to leave the country on Friday, February 10, and reenter. We keep reminding ourselves that God is in control of these matters.

Ned’s dad will have surgery this Friday to remove his bladder and prostate the fight the recurring cancer. Please pray for a successful surgery and for peace for Ned’s parents as they adjust and deal with the changes that this surgery will bring.

Life at Radio Punto moves along. We wait on the Lord for the FM license to be granted in His perfect timing. Ned hosts a morning show from 8-10 AM called “Buenos dias, Ibarra”, which brings back memories of his college radio days. Currently one of his colleagues at the station, Diego Galarza, faces a major life challenge. Diego’s wife has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and must undergo a complicated surgery that will cost at least $10,000. If any of you feel led to contribute towards this need, please contact Liebenzell USA or us.

The MINTS seminary classes are going strong. We were thrilled to have 68 people participate in the most recent class, Hermeneutics (Biblical Interpretation). Most of them audited the class, but there are 7 students who took the course for credit. The next class will follow in March.

Thank you for your prayers and support. We need you very much. God bless you.
