PA Group--Day 8

On Day 8, Friday, June 27, 2014, the group worked on a new project, outside the church walls, cleaning up trash and leveling the ground.

They did a SUPER job with this VERY hard work.

Also, painting the playground equipment.  Bravo.

Here is the progress on the second floor wall.

The "outside the church" group found a colorful lizard.

Marisol showed it to Matías, Jacob and Elías.  At first Jacob did not want to look.

Then he did.  Toddlers can be so fickle.

Colin and his strength were so vial to the leveling on the other side of the church wall.

Decisions were being made about the playground equipment repair.

And the work continued.

Slow but sure to its completion!

Jacob inspected the finished project.

Elías too.

In the afternoon the group presented a children's program for the final kids club of the season at the church.

There was a youth program/goodbye party for the group that night at the church, with games. . .

And a skit,

Even "Jesus" (dressed in white) made an appearance.

And then a message to close.

We made a presentation to the group, and the evening ended, with everyone going to pack and rest for the return trip home on Saturday.

How time flies when you're having fun.  Stay tuned for Day 9.
