PA Group--Day 7

On this day (Thursday, June 26, 2014), we went to visit a volcanic lagoon, Cuicocha.  Part of the appeal is the boat ride through the lagoon.

The group chose Frank to sit up front and take pictures for everyone.

Looking back at the boat driver.

Frank smiled for the camera.

Michelle looked cool, as usual, with her shades.

Picture time with the lagoon islands in the back.  Where is Gilligan when we need him?  No, it was not "a three hour tour."

Good friends forever to our kids, Auntie Stacey and Mrs. Michelle.

Elias with Tío (Uncle) Carlos.

Back on the construction site with Joel and Pastor Tony.

Pastor Tony is such a blessing to everyone, kids and grown-ups alike.

Working on the playground equipment at the church.

This was a project that the group decided independently to work on.  Not part of the original plan.

Getting ready for the afternoon kids ministry.

Stacey and Michelle told the wordless book story in tandem, with Ana translating and Rebekah and Ian holding the visuals.

Colin helped Amelia and the other kids make the wordless book bracelets after the story.

Here are the children modeling the bracelets.  Then it was back to the church to get ready for dinner.

Stay tuned for Day 8, coming soon!
