Jars of Clay

Another dream fulfilled in July when we were in PA visiting my parents: I got to see Jars of Clay at the Main Street Theatre in Ephrata, PA.  That night they were finishing up a tour.

The opening act was a female singer named Brooke Waggoner who offered up some engaging music of her own along with her wild red hair.  Loved the string bass.

Jars of Clay offered an amazing set including one song from their new album Inland, now available.

Definitely acoustic and unplugged, they played songs such as "Flood," "Long Song for a Savior," "Like a Child," "Crazy Times," "Call My Name," "Eyes Wide Open," and "We Will Follow."

Great tunes from a great band.  They didn't take themselves too seriously, and although they didn't "preach," they talked about life and their music speaks for itself.  Highly recommended to see this group if you ever have the chance.  Currently on tour to support their new album.  Visit www.jarsofclay.com for more info.
