Ecuador Welcomes Isabel

Last Monday Isabel arrived to Ecuador from Germany.  She will be helping us in our home with home schooling Joel and Amelia and other household tasks until next year (May or June).  We have a long history with Isabel, especially Marisol, who worked with Isabel and her family for seven years as a nanny, beginning  1995.  She also went to Germany with them during one of their furloughs.  She was the ring bearer at our wedding in 2002.  Now she is here with us, which means that life comes full circle.  Isabel told Amelia that she needs to learn German so that she can take care of Isabel's children in Germany someday.  That would be cool!

Already the children enjoy being with Isabel and doing things with her.  On Saturday Isabel and Joel prepared lunch.  It was delicious.  Jacob and Elías are warming up to her as well.  It is a blessing to have Isabel with us.
