Evangelism "Explosion"

This summer I've been teaching the Evangelism course at PIU with three students. I must admit that it has been great fun. Teaching three two-and-a-half-hour evening classes per week is no easy task to keep everyone engaged, but I think we've done pretty well at it. I guess you'd need to ask the students.

The students wrote and presented an evangelistic skit in which Joyce and Mary Lou are talking about Liberation Day. Delight joins the conversation, and all three end up discussing true freedom in Jesus Christ. They even shared their ice cream with their professor and not as a bribe. We've really enjoyed being in this class together.

We spent a little down time earlier this week playing the classic "Ungame" from the early 70s. Definitely fun and helped us to get to know each other better.

We also went to share our faith two times, once at the University of Guam and another time at Micronesia Mall. We had better conversations at UOG with participant for the Pacific Education Conference from as far away as Alaska. Still, we met some people at the mall, and it's always interesting to meet new people and to learn from them. On my way back to the house after the mall I spoke with my neighbor who shared that "something is not right" in his life and wants to study the Bible with me. Please pray for this new opportunity.
Only three more classes after tonight, and we finish. Thanks to Joyce, Mary Lou and Delight for making it interesting! Joyce has already left us early. She's in the USA visiting her children and grandchildren: Hi Joyce (if you're reading this)!
