Marisol Passed Her Citizenship Test!!!

Here is a picture of soon-to-be U.S. citizen Marisol R. Farnsworth outside the Homeland Security Office. Yes, she passed her interview this morning with "flying colors." She answered the six questions posed to her by the CIS agent correctly, and he did not even inspect the required documents that we had gathered for the occasion. Some colleagues kindly volunteered to watch Joel and Amelia for us, which was a good thing since we waited one-and-a-half hours in the office before Marisol was called in. Her oath swearing ceremony should be sometime in May. We are still praying that she will receive her U.S. passport in time for us to go as a family with the mission team to Palau this June.

We are both so relieved that this LONG U.S. immigration journey is almost over. I am impressed with and proud of Marisol's tenacity through all of this. There have been mountains to climb, valleys to walk through, tears and smiles along the way, and yet she has held her head high and persevered through it all. Way to go, Marisol!!!

Thank you to all of you who have prayed and supported us through this process. We couldn't have done it without your faithfulness.
