I wanted to let you know that I had surgery on October for a benign tumor on my right heel, which ended up being a wart when the biopsy report came back. Benign yes, but tumor no.

This is a pre-operation photo. Originally, the doctor diagnosed it as a benign tumor, but it was a plantar wart. I had it for a few years, but it recently started hurting, so I went to the dermatologist, the same doctor who treated me for skin cancer in 2022.

The surgery took about one and a half hours. This is a picture post-operation. I took an antibiotic for ten days following the surgery. Then my foot became infected, and I went back on antibiotics on Monday. I have another follow-up appointment tomorrow.

Here is a picture from today. I can't really do anything other than hobble around the house on my crutches (but the doctor said not to overdo) and stay on the bed or sofa with my feet propped up. It is frustrating not to help with any of our ministries. Marisol, Jacob, and Elias are taking good care of me and are keeping the ministries up and running. Hopefully, within 1-2 weeks I can get up and do at least some activities.

I'm going a bit BONKERS, but I guess I needed "forced rest." I realize that a lot of people are worse off than I am. I appreciate your prayers for patience and healing!!!
