Resurrection Day 2017

Some dear friends invited us to the Reading Country Club for lunch.  So much appreciated.  Muchas gracias.

Jacob and Elias entertain themselves at the Keystone Rescue Mission on Wednesday morning.

Greetings from springtime in the Poconos.  After the last snow on April 7 we are enjoying warmer weather.  The children enjoyed the 30 inches of snow that fell in March, building snow forts and snowmen.
We enjoyed two visits to First Baptist Church in Keyport, NJ, and another opportunity to preach at St. Paul’s UCC in Douglassville, PA, last Sunday.  Ned and Marisol shared with the young people at St. Paul’s how God called them into missionary service.  Upcoming meetings will be posted her on the blog.
For the past several weeks we have been serving at Keystone Rescue Mission in Scranton (picture above, right), distributing children’s clothing and diapers on Wednesday mornings.  Joel and Amelia are in school at that time, but Jacob and Elias go with us each week.  This opportunity to serve has been a blessing for our family.
The remaining months of our furlough in the USA are winding down, and we plan to return to Ecuador in early August.  We will settle into a different city of 90,000 people, Otavalo, and help to plant a new church there.  We will need to find a house to rent and schools where Joel and Amelia can study.  Please pray for all of these details to be worked out in God’s perfect will.
Thank you for your prayers and financial support.  We love you, The Farnsworths
