Merry Christmas to All!

Here is a picture of the Farnsworth Family Singers during the Christmas program in chapel that we performed. The von Trapps have nothing to fear, but it was great fun. Joel and Amelia were the main attraction!

Thanks for your patience in waiting for this entry. Not having internet at the house has been quite a challenge. The semester finished well, and now we are enjoying our break. We had an Open House for the students and staff of PIBC to show everyone our new place, and we have enjoyed the many Christmas activities. Last night we went to see the Christmas lights with Joel and Amelia. It does not FEEL like Christmas with temperatures in the 80s, but we thank God for the gift of His Son so many years ago to offer us love and life and hope. Thanks for your partnership and friendship to us. We can not express in words how much you mean to us. Feliz Navidad and God bless you at Christmas and always from Ned, Marisol, Joel and Amelia Farnsworth!

No tour at this time. Being Acting Campus Director has diminished any hopes for a CD and/or tour in the near future. But we do appreciate your support and enthusiasm, as always. Thanks, Bill and Elizabeth!!!!

GOOD THINGS HAPPENING 3

 A little background to this story.  I have been a fan of The Waltons from the beginning of the series.  In 2017 I attended the 45th anniversary celebration of the show in Schuyler, Virginia, the small hamlet where the series' creator Earl Hamner, Jr., was born and raised.  Perhaps I can share a bit more about that in a future post. During that weekend in March 2017 I met Reen Christie Bula (a/k/a Tammi Bula), who played John-Boy's love interest Marcia Woolery in the early seasons. Here is a shot of Reen and me, As well as a shot of all the cast member in attendance at the reunion with the exception of Michael Learned who went to bed early due to a play appearance the following day. January Fun

This month has been filled with fun activities. Here's a sample: We finally finished making the gingerbread house that was interrupted when Joel's accident necessitated a hasty trip to the ER. We tried to attend the Pan American Junior Swimming Championships at the LeoPalace Resort, but we arrived too late. However, we did enjoy walking around their man-made lake. Beautiful! After reading the Bible and watching the movie we acted out our own version of the Nativity. Amelia played Mary, Joel Joseph, and I a shepherd. Amelia's faithful doll Hannah played Jesus. Last night was Crazy Hair Night at Awana. Joel and I had to use synthetic craziness because his hair is too short and mine is nonexistent. Miss Bert and Miss Juliet joined in the fun!
